A January Reset

A January Reset

✨A January Reset

January is always a reset month for me.

It is when I sit down with my calendar, look at the year as a whole, and try to be realistic about what life can actually hold. Between school schedules, nap windows, events, and production time, this part always takes longer than I think. I actually paused calendar planning to write this, which feels very fitting for this season of life.

2026 already feels like a year of focus and getting back to connection. Less rushing, more intention, and more showing up where it matters.

✨Making Space For What Matters

Once the calendar starts to make sense, everything else follows.

Let's talk about this website. I know. It's missing... everything? After two babies back to back and all the chaos with Canada Post, I just didn’t have it in me to get everything loaded properly. But I need to now. Going backward and taking orders through DMs is way harder than doing the website work upfront, so I’m putting in the legwork so I can offer quicker, smoother customer service all year long.

We also have a HUGE restock currently in production with our manufacturer. Inventory was nearly completely wiped out by the time we got to the London Craft Show at the start of December. I may have hinted at what’s coming to a few shoppers at our holiday markets, you will want to stay tuned! We are pivoting our dishware line and bringing YOU what you really want! A collection built for real babies and real moms who just want something easy and affordable. (bundles anyone?)

January and early winter are my quieter months, which means more time in the workshop, making products and booking markets before things ramp up again in the spring. It is also time to get brainstorming on how we will be improving our booth layout for the coming season!

For 2026, I am focusing on one retail location only. You can still find us at Betty's Marketplace in Tillsonburg. This shop is honestly my favourite store in Ontario. I love the space, the people, and the way they support local makers. I am making a real commitment to keeping it stocked again. It has been a while, and I know some of you have been waiting very patiently. Life with three little ones and running a business often feels like two full time jobs layered together.

Coffee will, as always, be involved.

✨Kicking Off Event Season

With the calendar coming together, we officially kicked off 2026 by launching applications for both of our major events for the year.

First is Womb to Walking Baby Show London
📍 J-AAR Expo Centre in London, Ontario
📅 Saturday, May 23, 2026

Womb to Walking is a one-day baby and parenting show designed to connect growing families with local resources, small businesses, and services. It is busy, loud, helpful, and full of strollers, which is kind of the point.

Later in the year, we will be hosting Sugarplums & Stockings Holiday Market
📍 Storehouse 408 in Cambridge, Ontario
📅 November 28–29, 2026

Sugarplums & Stockings is our annual holiday market celebrating local makers and small businesses. It is festive, cozy, and a really nice way to shop locally heading into the holiday season. In 2026, it returns as a two day event so there is more time to enjoy it.

✨As The Year Unfolds

Spring is already shaping up to be full, in the best way.

You can always check our Where to Find Us page to see where we will be throughout the year, whether that is at a market, an event, or stocked in store.

If you are also juggling kids, work, and a constantly running mental to do list, you are not alone. January is for resetting, planning, and trusting that putting the pieces in place now makes the rest of the year feel a little more manageable.

Here is to a focused, connected, and very coffee-fuelled start to 2026 🤍
